Evening guys the detail on that Grasshopper is brilliant Dave, was that with your new camera I am guessing so!. How big was that fella? you never know in Australia you have some crazy things wandering about! some of your insects are the size of small dogs .
I am off with the boys at the weekend to an airshow so hopefully the weather will be ok I am thinking of sticking a film in my old rangefinder and taking that along as well it would be nice to give it an airing and get all the cogs moving. I think there is something nice about film and not really knowing how it's going to turn out. Keep up the good work and get some more shots in.

Srry for late reply. I hope you have an awesome time at the airshow! I still have the camera you sent me. I don't know if I will ever get around to putting film in it, but I can telly you that it's a very special gift that is staying with me! Your mention of film is tempting though.
I'll get some more shots in. Not sure if you have seen my gif slideshows. I am thinking of doing a few more as a means to presenting a link that could then be used to further view or show case a number of embedded lings below.

PS - grasshopper was a small one for it's species - about 6-8ish-cm. I link another from last year later which was more like 18-20ish-cm.
